Overview
There is an old saying that “a chain is only as strong as its weakest link…”
At EAI we believe that in order to ensure that every link in the EAI chain is
as strong as it should be, we constantly have to invest in our main asset: our
resource team.
To many it is unheard of that a group of IT companies specializing in a very
specific part of the Information Technology domain, would invest in, and run a
tertiary academy. The fact is that the EAI Academy forms an integral part of the
EAI group of companies due to the following reasons:
• EAI Holdings delivers a specialized niche service to clients in the
corporate arena. There are certain projects where the scope of work is
of such a highly sensitive and complex nature that it is impossible for a
new recruit to just step up and slot in (this applies even for experienced
engineers and developers) without specific training.
• At the EAI group of companies our team of highly skilled resources are
constantly challenged with corporate requirements and ultimately an
expectation of innovative solutions. In order to meet and excel at said
requirements our resources have to keep abreast of the most recent
changes in their respective technology fields. The academy serves as a
platform for existing resources to expand their knowledge and skills.
• The academy serves as a breeding ground for the EAI resources and
ultimately leaders of tomorrow.
• The academy serves as a “filter” for potential employees and gives the EAI
group the opportunity to screen and reference new candidates for the
resource pool.
A candidate that has completed the 12 week EAI Academy course will have
obtained a skill set which will distinguish him/her from any other similarly
trained candidate. In our business, we call it “having the edge”.
